SIlver Mist Namaste (Aremis) May 1 2014 Marana Artistry x DM Correll Little Cacey High foundation Buckskin -99.325 % This colt was exactly what I envisioned when I bred him.I was actually hoping for a black filly but Artistry really threw his cream gene.Luckily a buckskin was my second choice and boy did Cacey give me a nice one.I also told myself If I ever got a perfect buckskin Colt I would be keeping him to stand stud someday.Well Here he is. I named him Namaste as it means The divine in me honours the divine in you. I feel this way about all of my horses so I named him to honour the special bond between human and horse. This colt is growing into one heck of a beautiful stallion and is the kindest and gentlest of souls. He is to me what dreams are made of <3 Aremis is the legacy left behind by his beautiful sire Marana Artistry. He has some big shoes to fill but I think he can do it.With Cacey and Artistry's genetics combined I really can't go wrong. He is already exceeded my expectations. I have jumped up on Aremis a few times at liberty with no problems so far but have not officially begun anything with him except a few random lunging sessions and some liberty with and without brother Nikko at his side.He does amazing at all I ask he was fenced next to mare and geldings all summer and he was quiet as can be.He is really showing he is a dream ..A dream to handle and keep and so far to ride.I can't get enough of his kind spirit,What we name them matters and he is so living up to my hopes for him. <3
Butte's Blackman DandyApril 29 2014 Black beauty bred by Butte Morgans A1 DUPLICATE EAGLE x SWEET IRON ANISETTE - 100% foundation Black I have been dreaming of the perfect black horse for some time now and when Dandy was born I fell for him. I was not sure about adding another stallion to my herd at the time but my love for him won out and I was so happy to purchase this amazing colt. Willing, quiet and so full of love. I plan to stand Dandy at stud along side Aremis and look forward to watching him mature.I love his small compact build and graceful movement. I can't wait to see what he becomes. He is a magnificent creature. He is developing beautifully as he matures but like Aremis has a kind and sweet disposition that makes him kid friendly and a pleasure to be with.We are currently working on hooking in at liberty and I am finding this exceptionally helpful with Dandy as he is pretty hormonal this year as compared to 2017 so we are working on focus and self control. He is doing great and we are really bonding even though he can be shy with me . Every session he improves by leaps and bounds and is enjoying our play.He has taken to being very vocal with me and I feel this is his way of communicating with me as well as the typical stuff. His vocal behavior is soft nickers and little soft noises He is also darling when we play. I have been having small sessions with him throughout the year .This colt does not trot he floats and glides and is so so soft..I love how much softness he offers and it takes very little from me.
