Recent News Well...It has been one heck of a year.We began renovations on all fences and have been trying to reorganize and re work just about everything here including the breeding program. Some of you may have noticed we are currently not breeding and downsizing. There are a few reasons but firstly just wanting to make things more manageable until we complete farm renos and this place needs everything! Inside and out So it's just much easier without babies and for the time being a few less horses. Trying to keep up and do it all was taking its toll on me so I am getting more real about things.
Also we have sold a lot of our mares and I have Baptiste Kain's Kate Com up for sale also..She is a wonderful mare but I have something different in mind than when I first began and will be later adding a few mares to breed to our stallions Silver Mist Namaste (Aremis)and Butte's Blackman Dandy (Dandy) .If Kate sticks around for a while that is fine also as we do enjoy her and I have mixed feelings about selling her.Of course I do about all of them but we cannot keep them all..which I am finally realizing I have lost my dearest friend Marana Artistry in a tragic Pasture accident.I am beyond devastated and the human language has yet to discover words to truly express the depth of my sadness I am working to heal my heart. I am however grateful to have several of his sons still with me.I have created a memorial page for him and he will never ever be forgotten.I am changed because he lived.
Silver Mist Namaste (Aremis)( Marana Artistry x DM Correll Little Cacey) and Butte's Blackman Dandy (Dandy) will be standing stud to the public once we are settled again. I have had a few inquiries on foals and may be willing to breed to order with a deposit in the coming year but have not yet decided and people may just have to wait as I need to do what is right for us first.
Our family has just in the past few years had a lot going on including cancer and last year a near fatal car accident which took over pretty much everything as you can imagine. It has been a little tough to keep up with farm stuff and has set us back at least 2-3 years or so and now the death of my beloved horse and 2 dogs but we are finally beginning to recover and getting to a new normal state of life.Slowly but moving forward..We are resilient and so are our horses ;) I look forward to new beginnings and reworking this dream to make it even better.
I won the Merriworld photo contest in 2014.First time I entered. How cool. I never imagined could win and just entered for fun.I love my horses and love to capture them just as much. -Aremis is also featured in this photo.
